Is Disclosing Your MBA Mom Status a Professional Liability? Our Founder Shares Her Thoughts
As this blog continues to grow, we have been receiving great feedback and insights from MBA moms who are eager to join this community. While women like Melissa Martin of HBS and Jennifer Sepulveda of Columbia Business School have openly shared their stories and words of wisdom for aspiring MBA women, some women have expressed fear to publicly share their stories on the blog. They support our mission but only want to share in an anonymous capacity due to concerns that publicly disclosing their status as moms could be seen as a liability to employers. Similarly, pre-MBA women have concerns about whether to mention their children in application essays. In this vlog, our Founder/CEO shares her thoughts on this issue and invites our growing community to share opinions in the comment section below.
