MBA Mama of the Month - Erin Nilon
I did not get my MBA despite my children. I got it because of them. - Erin Nilon
Every month, we will feature a new MBA Mama of the Month. These accomplished, talented women will share their stories in hopes of inspiring other women to take practical steps to pursue a graduate business degree. We are excited to feature Erin Nilon, a 2014 graduate of the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Erin, a Forté Foundation Fellow at UNC Kenan-Flagler, came to business school with more than 10 years of international development and non-profit management experience. In addition to being a dedicated wife to her husband, Mike, and mother to their two daughters, Graelyn and Elcie, Erin is a highly-motivated and versatile professional with experience in countries across Africa, Asia, and North America.
In the exclusive videos below, Erin speaks about the biggest challenges she faced as an MBA Mama, her reasons for selecting Kenan-Flagler, and her current career path.
