Shammi's advice for career moms interested in tech: We desperately need more women and mothers in tech leadership roles. There is genuine good intention from employers and managers to make it more inclusive so it's a good time to work in tech.
Shammi is a married mother of two who graduated from Stanford's Graduate School of Business in 2018. Originally from Bangladesh, she now lives in Sunnyvale, California where she works as a Customer Insights Solutions and Strategy Manager at Google.

Gil is a mother of three and a 2016 graduate of The Wharton School's Healthcare Management program. She began her MBA just 4 weeks after her second child was born and she gave birth to her third child during the second year of her MBA studies. Gil had a major impact at Wharton as a founding member Mothers @ Wharton, an initiative of Wharton's Women in Business organization. She led a strategic project that resulted in the creation of a suite of lactation rooms in Wharton's Huntsman Hall. Gil lives in the Greater Philadelphia area with her husband and three children. She is a Regional Operations Director at DaVita Kidney Care.
